STIMUL Festival presents: Anti-Pop Consortium /USA/, WWW (CZ)

The Stimul Festival 2010 will open on March 4 with the futuristic hip-hop Anti-Pop Consortium. The legendary hip hop experimenters will be performing in the Czech Republic for the first time.
They debuted in 2000 with the album Tragic Epilogue, which blazed a trail for many followers, who developed a liking for mixing avant-garde music and rap. With the sonic derangement of their best-known album Arrhythmia they found a home with the British label Warp. In 2003, the Anti Pop Consortium released an album together with jazz pianist Matthew Shipp and then broke up for a while and embarked on various solo projects.

At the Stimul Festival of experimental music, the dreams of many fans of alternative rock will come true. One of the biggest concert engagements in recent years is coming to Prague’s Archa Theatre, the Czech premiere of Wilco!
