9/3/2010 20:00 - The Young Gods are coming to Prague as part of their last acoustic tour “Knock on Wood” before the release of their new electronic album! This is probably the last chance to hear their revolutionary project live, which two years ago sold out two nights.

The Swiss band is one of the most important European innovators in the field of electronic music. After almost a quarter century of experimentation with samples they’ve shocked their fans by recording a fascinating acoustic album and sharing the stage with three Spanish women.
The legendary experimenters are known for ignoring “clean style”, with a discography full of apparent flashes, which often become logical and mutually cohesive only after the passage of several years. Nevertheless, that which they offer as part of their current acoustic project, captured in the album Knock On Wood – The Acoustic Sessions (CD+DVD), is perhaps in their rich career up to now the most audacious. The choose from their repertoire the best-known pieces, supplement them with several cover versions, and record everything with three Spanish women, percussion and vocals, is something that perhaps no other band of this kind has attempted.
