Divadlo Vizita - The Owl's Cane

Divadlo Vizita - The Owl's Cane

11/2/2010 20:00 - An evening of spontaneous improvisation by Jaroslav Dušek, Pjér la Šé´z, Zdeněk Konopásek and Viktor Zborník.

Divadlo Vizita is a unique line up of artists who appear, on a rotating basis, alongside the central figure Jaroslav Dušek. Since its creation in 1981, Vizita has been devoted to improvisational and spontaneous theatre. “We think up titles, so we have something to put in the programme and so that people know that we don’t keep performing the same show” explains Dušek.

Each performance is based on verbal improvisation, often also combined with movement and physical improvisation. The musical element of Vizita, created in the past by Alan Vitouš, plays an important role. Vizita’s musical improvisation is currently provided by Pjér la Šé´z, Zdeněk Konopásek and, from time to time, the contrabassist and jazz musician Miroslav Vitouš. The light design is created live by Viktor Zborník.

Duration of the performance: approx. 2 hours with intermission.

In Czech.
