Archa Theatre production Chat – Dangerously Easy Liaison at Berlin’s Sopiensaele! (20th of February 2008)
Following on from the Berlin Reloaded festival at Archa Theatre last autumn, this month Archa Theatre presented the production Chat-Dangerously Easy Liaison at Berlin’s renowned contemporary arts centre Sophiensaele. The Archa.lab production, previously presented in Tokyo, Cardiff, United Kingdom and Vienna, also met with great success in Berlin, where both performances were sold out. The performance was also accompanied by a beatbox battle, featuring star of the Czech beatboxing scene, and one of the performers in Chat – Dangerously Easy Liaison, Cossiga, and other leading Czech and German beatboxers.

SKUTR: Nickname sells out in Bratislava (22nd November 2007)
Following successful performances in Belgrade, Vilnius and Budapest, this November directing duo SKUTR presented their acclaimed performance Nickname in Bratislava.
Nickname, created as a part of Archa.lab's Internet Communication thematic cycle, was performed to sold-out audiences as part of the Puberťák festival for young people, organised by the VŠMU theatre academy and Bratislava’s Ludus Theatre with the support of the International Organisation of Professional Theatres for Children and Young People (ASSITEJ). Nickname won praise for its up-to-date theme, original use of lighting and projection and high quality acting.

SKUTR awarded the Grand prix in Belgrade. (27th March 2007)
The Czech directing duo SKUTR have been awarded the judges’ Grand prix at the FIST international theatre festival in Belgrade for their performance Paradise of the Heart, Labyrinth of the World. The production was created through collaboration between Prague’s DAMU and theatre academies in Wroclaw and Bratislava. Following last year’s premiere at Archa Theatre and performances in partner cities, the show will now be taken to various European festivals, including in Germany and Italy.

Archa Theatre presents DREAMING.ANDERSEN at the European Dream Festival in New York (October 2006)
In October 2006 Archa Theatre represented Czech Republic at the European Dream Festival in New York, which included more than thirty productions from European Union countries. Archa’s acclaimed performance DREAMING.ANDERSEN was presented on three different nights to sold out audiences at the Tribeca Performing Art Center and Archa’s participation in the festival also included a seminar with Archa’s director Ondřej Hrab and director of the performance Jana Svobodová at the Czech Centre in New York. DREAMING.ANDERSEN was warmly received, not only by the younger audience members, at whom it is directed, but also by a string of personalities from artistic circles.
OTHER ARCHA THEATRE PROJECTS TO BE PRESENTED ABROAD:
Chat – Dangerously Easy Liaisons has travelled to Tokyo, Cardiff, United Kingdom and Vienna.
SKUTR: Nickname has been presented at the Belef Festival in Belgrade, Serbia, at the Sirenos Festival in Vilnius, and most recently in Bucharest, Romania.
SKUTR: Understand is due to travel to Poland in autumn 2007.
